Adding a Clock

Using TrilbyTV’s Content Catalogue you can display the time on your signage. This guide explains how to add a Clock as a content item, offering various analog and digital styles to help students and staff keep track of the school day.

If you want to have a full-screen clock on your TrilbyTV displays, then you can add one from our Smart Content.

  1. Go to https://app.trilbytv.co.uk/smartcontent
  2. Click on Clock and Add to feed. Optionally add a message to the top of your clock screen
  3. Choose the time format from Analogue or Digital
  4. Turn the Date on or off
  5. Set font and colour choices
  6. Then save and close

The clock will be added to your feed and will need to be approved before it is displayed.

TIP

We would encourage the full-screen Clock to be used sparingly. Clocks on digital signage screens are a historical hangover from the days when layouts and templates placed widgets all around the screen and distracted users from the core content. 

A great alternative is to use Corners to add the time and date to the corner of a player.
