Using Schedules

This page provides step-by-step instructions on setting up Schedules to control exactly when specific: content, playlists, or categories are shown throughout the day.

Adding a Schedule to a Player allows you to play a specific set of content at a certain time and date on your TV, such as scheduling content for lunch time or for events such as Parents' Evening.

Creating a Schedule

  1. To create a schedule, go to Players and click the player you want to run the schedule on
  2. Click the Add Schedule button in the top right corner of the screen
  3. Choose the Category, Playlist or Single item you would like to display. You can also limit the number of items or shuffle the content during playback.

  4. Choose the days on which you'd like the content to be shown and add a Start and finish time. You have the option to repeat the schedule on certain days of the week or only to run this schedule between certain dates.

  5. Click Save

NOTE

  • You can create as many schedules as you like - when a schedule isn't set, the player will revert to Default playback.
  • Schedules with overlapping times will use the schedule that has started most recently. For example, if you set a 10 am to 11 am schedule, and a 10.30 am to 11 am schedule, at 10.30, the second schedule will take over playback from the first.
